After a few months of seeing Kylie’s Lip Kit launch, followed by a few relaunches, I decided to try my luck on this last restock on March 28th, since then there has been only one restock following the new line of glosses that has dropped. I only had my eye on three colors: Candy K, Poise K and Dolce K out of the eight colors currently offered. Kourt K being the newest released on March 25th. To my understanding along small amount of research once Kylie tweeted the site was restocked you'd, have minutes to purchase the $29 kits before they were sold out. I'd like to say I'm a quick person when it comes to using my phone to online shop, but atlas I was not, as I found myself having difficulties trying to purchase. First off, it was hard to get all the colors you wanted into your “check out” basket, you had to click on each color individually, then click add to cart. Afterwards, it would then proceed to take you to a side view of your cart where you can add more than one to your quantity if you desired. You then have to go back to the page of colors and do this each time. During this time the site continuously decided to crash as well, making me have to start over more times then I would like to admit. Once I finally made it through to the checkout and more site crashes I was able to click “purchase and confirm.” Still luck wasn't on my side and the page came up error telling me all but one kit (True Brown) was already sold out, so I clicked confirm and bought my one for now. Let me inform you that this took me 20 minutes.

I received my confirmation emailed and waited for my kit to arrive in my mailbox. To my surprise the delivery was pretty quick and less than a week later my Kylie Kit was waiting for me. The packaging was very cute and totally Kylie. I decided to try out the color and its effectiveness to a show a few nights later not knowing if I'd like the color. To my amazement, I love how the color looked, even though it was very bold for my choice and a little out of my comfort zone, I stuck with it. The liner was a little dry when applied but over all went on well. Next, I applied the True Brown a smell of vanilla filled the room. The application very smoothly and dried a minute later leaving a smooth matte finish with no heaviness that most mattes leave. It lasted a good few hours into the night before my lips felt dry and a little flaky. With this being said I will definitely be looking for her next launch to buy a few more.
Now on April 1st, I received a tweet notification that Kylie’s new line of glosses for $15, was officially stocked for the first time and up on her site kyliecosmetics.com so as I sat on my hotel bed in California, I decided to try my luck once more. I had three choices to choose from: Like, Literally and So Cute (which you can buy in a pack not offered with her mattes for $45) I decided to go with Literally, as the color seemed the most appealing to me. During my time on the site, things seemed much smoother. I had not a single problem moving from page to page and was able to purchase the gloss I wanted in under 5 minutes. Same as last time the delivery was quick and efficient and under a week my gloss arrived.

The tubes are the same size as well and the smell of vanilla was still present with leaving the brush the only major difference for application reason. The only complaint I have is the application brush which came all messed up as I pulled it out to look at its packaging. Personally, I have a strong dislike for lip gloss but decided to stay with the trend and try something new. Again to my surprise it's not like most glosses with its highly pigmented shine, thickness and smoothly applied. The glosses have less of a sticky feeling to them which is a big plus for me! Again, I'm not a fan of how sticky lip glosses are or how my hair gets stuck to my lips.
As of now, I would say I'm hooked and am very looking forward to what other colors whips up in the Kylie's cosmetic lab. As she seems to be staying true to her promise of a restock almost very week and working hard on listening to her massive fan base when they have a problem with their orders, the site, or just the praise for their love for her beauty products. Each time making new tweets to her site to better her fandom so experience.
Stay tuned to hear more about Kylie's 3 new Metal Matte Lip Kits: Reign, King K and Heir (which I cannot freaking wait for) brought to you by her app Kylie Jenner Official App. Which have officially went up on her site Friday April 15th for $18 with a choice of a bundle pack for $54.
