Each week we bring you a new band/musician featured on our Media page. This week we bring you the new music from Beach Weather.
Beach Weather is the newest addition to the 8123 family and the spawn of ex-A Rocket to the Moon's Nick Santino. Beach Weather hails from all over the U.S. (according to their Facebook profile, their hometown is Beach Weather, USA) and are ready to be kings of the mega playground.
Why you should know them : Aside from being Santino's newest project, Beach Weather is already showing great promise with their first EP What A Drag. Their songs are laced with pop hooks that make you want to dance like a fool. Maybe pull a bit of a Risky Business?
What track you should listen to : Although they currently released just a 5 track EP, each track is brilliant in its own way. That being said, the stand out track would be track 3, "Bad Seed," and has a nice late 80's early 90's pop-vibe to it.
Similar to : Surprisingly, Beach Weather doesn't sound much like Santino's previous music. The most that we can compare them to is a more pop infused version of The 1975.
Currently, the band is touring with The Maine on the Free For All/American Candy Tour. In early 2016, Beach Weather will head out as support for Sleeping With Sirens and This Wild Life on a European tour.
Be sure to keep an eye out for Beach Weather and keep checking back for new featured artists every week!
